Computer Applications
The Computer Applications course is designed to help students learn the basic computer application skills they need for success in academics and careers. The course is geared towards students with some computer experience, who need to expand their skills with Microsoft Office Applications, as well as Google Applications.
YOU MUST HAVE HEADPHONES to complete the digital assignments, notebook, folder and writing utensils.
Essentials
Students will learn the essential skills needed to get started with each application by watching multimedia presentations and completing short application assignments. At the end of the essentials stage, students should ready to work on the fundamentals modules.

FundamentalsStudents will learn the fundamental, core features of each software package by watching multimedia presentations and completing short application assignments. At the end of the fundamentals stage, students should be able to demonstrate basic skills and create basic documents.

Intermediate Students will watch multimedia videos and complete assignments to learn new application skills and gain experience working with applications.

Projects Students spend several class periods working through real life scenario projects. Each project is a little different, but students will typically be asked to gather information, start from blank documents, and create several revisions of their work.
